Privacy policy
ぽめ汰。 (“we”) sets out below how the Chrome extension “X Follow & Reply Checker” (the “extension”) and its product page at https://po-meta.com/tools/x-follow-reply-checker/en/ (the “page”) handle information.
1. Information the extension handles
The extension stores the following only inside the browser you are using:
- The user id of the X account that is logged in
- The user id of the person you replied to
- How many replies you sent to that person
- Recent reply tweet ids, up to 500, so the same send is not counted twice
The user id is read only as the numeric id inside the existing cookie named twid. The extension does not read or store auth cookies or login tokens.
It does not store reply text, passwords, authorization headers, or a copy of your follow list.
2. Why the extension uses that information
- To show, next to a name, how many replies were sent successfully to that person
- To avoid counting the same reply twice
- To show a follow label on Home when the page’s own timeline response already includes a follow flag
- To hide rows on a following or followers list when you turn that filter on
This stays in the browser. It is not sent to our server. The extension does not use the official X API. It does not follow, like, repost, reply, or block for you. It does not request extra profiles.
To learn follow state, it looks only at responses the X page itself has already received. Those responses are not forwarded to us.
3. Where it is stored, and how to delete it
Records live in Chrome’s extension storage (chrome.storage.local). We never receive them.
You can delete reply counts from the extension popup with “Delete all records”. Removing the extension also removes the records left in the browser.
A list filter stays on only while that list is open. The checked state is not saved.
4. Sharing from the extension
We do not collect what the extension stores in the browser, so we do not share it with anyone else.
5. This page
This page is a website that describes the extension. Opening it does not read the extension’s records.
This page uses:
- Google Analytics (measurement ID G-6Y30WF17ZC), to understand visits. Google may collect visit information through cookies.
- Google AdSense (publisher ID ca-pub-3902874626583895), to show ads. Google may use cookies.
